Cake Care
My heart and soul goes into every order (also a lot of hard work!) to make them perfect for your event. Once it leaves my hands it is now your job to keep them beautiful and tasty! To ensure their safe travel, here are a few tips to remember for proper care:
Keep your cake flat when traveling. Place on the flat floor of your car, NOT the seat.
Carry your cake (and other desserts) from the bottom, NOT the sides of the box. This is to prevent any dents.
Keep cake away from all heat sources. For example, heating vents and direct sunlight.
Cakes are best stored in a cool place (i.e. fridge or basement). We suggest allowing 2-3 hours for the cake to come to room temperature prior to being cut. Times may vary based on size of cake.
* While other desserts might not be a fragile as cake, they still deserve the same amount of love and care. If you have any questions on how best to store your desserts, please do not hesitate to ask!
Pick Up or Delivery
All pick up dates and times will be scheduled ahead of time. I try to be very flexible and accommodating, however please try to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. While I understand things happen, I reserve the right to no longer accept orders from customers with consistent late pick ups and last minute changes.
Once you arrive, please send me a text a 586-207-7679 and I will bring your desserts out to you.
Please have a cleared space on the floor of a cooled car ready for cake placement. We want to do everything to insure safe arrival of your desserts.
If you prefer to have your desserts delivered that is ok too! There is an additional fee associated with delivery based on location and determined upon order confirmation.
All delivers will need a location name and address, emergency contact number, and time frame.
Please see that there is an appropriate placement available for all desserts. This includes no wobbly tables, long hanging table cloths, and no direct sunlight.
Any stand rentals will include a rental fee and deposit. The deposit will be refunded once stands are returned in their original condition within one week of event. A rental agreement will also need to be signed.
Prices
All prices are subject to change based on final flavors, designs, and packaging. We pride ourselves on high quality desserts that contain high quality ingredients. These items can sometimes come at an increase cost. But we believe that our top-notch Cups and Cakes are 100% worth it!
Policies and Payment
2 weeks notice is recommended on all orders. I often book full even before this so the sooner you place your order the better!
A 50% retainer is required to place your order. Your order is not considered confirmed until the deposit is paid. I accept venmo, paypal, cash app, zelle, cash, check, or card (additional service fees apply)
Remaining balances are due at pick up or prior to delivery.

Order Minimums
A minimum order of 2 dozen is required for macarons and mini cookies
All other specialty items require a 1 dozen order minimum.

Inspiration Pictures
I love seeing what my customers have in mind for design! However, please keep in mind that nothing can be 100% replicated. If you are up for creative freedom, we love that too! A true one of a kind created just for you!
Order and Scheduling Changes
We are living in uncertain times. And while I understand not all changes can be helped I will do my best to accommodate when I can. No changes can be made one week prior to event. Any cancelations less than a week out will not be issued a refund. I will offer one rescheduling date based on where I am in the decorating process.
Michigan Cottage Food Law
My bakery is home based. Under the Michigan Law I am not required to have regular inspections. It is not a licensed kitchen. However, I do everything I can to ensure a clean, sanitary kitchen to provide products you can have confidence in. I am also food safe certified. Every product that leaves my home will have an ingredient and allergen label. I am also an insured LLC. Brides, please make sure your venue allows this before confirming payment. I am happy to provide any documents necessary. (this will be listed in the wedding contract)
